Danny Farr is a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Curtis Behavioral Health, known for his compassionate care and diverse background. A proud native of Macon, GA, Danny has spent most of his life in the Warner Robins area, deeply rooted in his community.
Danny's journey began with his service in the U.S. Army, where he spent seven years in field artillery, including a deployment to Afghanistan from 2013 to 2014. His military experience instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and a commitment to serving others.
Following his military service, Danny transitioned to a role as a correctional officer, further honing his skills in maintaining safety and order while supporting individuals in challenging environments. This experience sparked his interest in mental health and the complexities of human behavior.
Driven by a desire to make a more direct impact in healthcare, Danny pursued a degree in nursing. He began his nursing career in the emergency room, where he quickly discovered a passion for psychiatric medication and mental health care. This led him to work in a psychiatric ward for four years, during which he pursued his Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, specializing in psychiatric mental health.
